Future of Cooktops

CREATIVE DIRECTION
Drawing from noir, romance, and indie aesthetics, the direction focused on narrative-driven scenes and emotional stills.
LIGHTING TECHNIQUES USED
Low-key lighting, tungsten glows, and practical lights (lamps, car headlights) were used to craft a cinematic vibe.
STYLING PHILOSOPHY
Timeless tailoring, retro cuts, and character-inspired looks rooted in classic films, bringing storytelling into fashion.

3D printing made the process of iterating fast and hands-on, allowing different forms, proportions, and mechanisms to be tested and refined quickly through physical prototypes. Instead of designing everything digitally and manufacturing only at the end, the project evolved through continuous printing, assembling, adjusting, and reprinting.

Developed through rapid prototyping and iterative 3D printing, the project focused on creating a form that feels approachable, customizable, and easy to assemble while maintaining a strong architectural presence. Rather than positioning fabrication as an industrial process, FORM/01 explores the idea of making as part of everyday domestic culture — where products exist not only as physical objects, but also as downloadable systems that can be produced, modified, and shared locally.
